When we breath, it does not stop at lungs, tiny polluted particles travel to bloodstream even to brain. Globally Just 1 in 10 people on earth breath safe air. Every day we breath a range of pollutants that triggers anxiety, cardiovascular disease, infertility. We take approximately 10000 liter of air every day. Unfortunately 104 countries have no air quality monitoring infrastructure.
Reducing air pollution could help mitigate climate change, improve energy security, increase agricultural productivity, drive economic growth,most importantly world’s most vulnerable,marginalised people can avoid worst polluted breathable air. Nearly 4 million people die prematurely from indoor air pollution. Climate,nature & pollution are interlinked. We smell and taste pollutants the moment we walk out of the door. Engulfed by the hazy air,we & our children (next generation’s ) health are at risk.
